Every day at a surprise moment in your Drop Zone's window, for example between 12:00 and 21:00 New York time in the Americas. In the app, Me → Settings → Drop zone shows the window in your own time. It's the same dare for everyone. You'll get a notification, then you have 30 minutes. Late? You can still post until 03:00 on your zone's clock; your post shows how many minutes after the drop it came.

Friends' posts unlock after you post your own proof for today's dare. No peeking first 😉

Everything goes through an automatic AI safety check before anyone else can see it. It usually takes a few seconds.

Only friends can dare each other. You can dare the same friend once every 3 days, and everyone gets at most 2 friend dares a day, on top of the daily dare.

Tap ••• on their post and choose Report, or open their profile and tap Report or Block. Our automatic safety check looks at every report again within minutes. If you think a decision was wrong, email support@getdareapp.com.

DARE+ is managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DARE, and tap Cancel. You keep DARE+ until the end of the period you paid for. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

In the app, go to Me → Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, posts and photos. If you can't get into the app, email us from the address on your account and we'll do it for you.
